XVe organized in our junior year 2 with Simeon McKernan as president. During the year we E received our rings, thus originating the custom of' rings a 2 year in advance. Every one worked hard and looked at the E class bank book with great delight at the beginning of our E Senior year. During the year 1918-,'.!Q, David Ripton was E president. E XVith the beautiful Old Rose and Silver as colors, the E American Beauty rose as a class flower, and the wonderful E motto, To Ilziw 0-wn ref be Hue, we could not help but E succeed. The Charm School was presented most credit- 2 ably. Thirteen members took part in it. According to E all reports, it was a very great success and will not be for- E gotten for quite some time. Z The records of all school activities and organizations 2 such as the L. H. S. band, the orchestra, glee clubs, tc- E gether with baseball, basketball, football teams, and the Red E and Black staff show a very large percentage of Seniors E participating. During the first term, Simeon Mcliernan was E president of the Student Council and Kenneth Davis, vice- 2 president, with three other Seniors as representatives. The 2 usual Wfashington trip was happily made by thirty-nine out E of the forty-nine. E So, we prepare to leave dear old L. H. S., proud of E our record. May we be proud ofthe records we have yet E to make!
