Munn , ig. The multi-talented Mike Cavotta in action. ge ' It beats buying a ticket. Pivot man. 161 -, - a+ 5 -L .. -. Senior Tom Burgess are available for spot starts and relief work. Le Moyne's batsmen are counted on for greater output in '68. Glasso, Hastings, Steve Stark, Joe Miller, Jim Saxby, and Ray Schlegel, with a year's experience under their belts, put a lot of punch in the Dolphin attack. Soph newcomers, joe Russo and John Zych, add still more power to the lineup. The '67 rebuilding season laid the ground- work for future success on the diamond. The combination of talented youngsters and pro- fessional know-how should put Le Moyne base- ball fortunes on the rise for many seasons to come. One of the seasonis few bright spots was Pete Murphy's well-pitched 6-1 victory over Oswego. Senior Paul Granato and joe Miller backed up Murph's pitching with two RBI's apiece. Another highlight was a hard fought 9-7 win over St. Bonaventure. Center fielder Miller again led the way with two hits and three RBI's. ,Mi -'qui

GOLF Fare oH: C. Grilhn, E. O'Neill, Coach O'Leary, B. Loftus, C. McKernan, M. O'Connor. The year 1967 introduced fall golf to Le Moyne. In autumn, the linksmen participated in two multi-team meets: the M.E.C.C.A. tournament at Siena and the E.C.A.C. tourney held at Drumlins in Syracuse. In both events the Dolphins fared poorly due to the predominance of inexper- ienced underclassmen on the team. A strong Ithaca College squad also handed the golfers a setback. Coach Bill O'Leary expects several seasons of good golf from his young players. Competing in fall and spring should add to their effectiveness. Leading this year's team are a number of veterans, Cary Griffin, Ed O'Nei1l, Dave Loftus, Dan Hurley, Mike O'Connor, and Jerry Hayes. Pressing for regular positions are a quartet of exceptionally able freshmen, joe Tesori, Chuck McKernan, Jerry Lawford, and Rick Coyle. With only underclassmen on the '67-'68 squad, Coach O'Leary looks forward to success on the links for some time to come. 1 jerry Hayes and Joe Tesori x -5
