The GAA fosters interest in athletics by sponsoring a series of basketball games with other schools, and four girls' tennis matches. A variety of sports were sponsored here at school during P.E.periods. and on Wednesday evenings. Five girls won their Block L this year and SO girls were awarded the GAA shield which represents 50 points.
