I m pEarly in the year the class participated in a magazine ,selling -odnlett. The Juniors v. s. the Seniors. tThe Seniors came out on top but the campaign netted us 378. At the P.T.A. Hallowe'en Carnival we had a booth at which we sold cake, ice cream and coffee We sold potato chips, candy bars, pop corn, and gum at basketball games to earn more money. Also we sponsored several bake sales. Thriftily the members of the Junior Class vigorously oa paigned to break the school custom of purchasing class rings-during the Senior geari Here we scored a victory when almost everyone in class voted or t. The scene in the crystal ball changed once again and we 6 T3 saw the boxing ring at Madison Square Garden.
