The sole purpose of this club is to promote school spirit by creating a feeling of pride, in the efforts and accomplishments of one ' s Athletic teams. Throughout the sports season members of Pep Club work on posters, locker orna- ments, and Pep Skits as well as sponsor dances and furnish cakes for CakeBRaffles . Anyone, girl or boy, from the eighth to the twelfth grades is welcome to join the club. There are no special qualifications other than paying the dues of fifty cents a year. The enthusiasm and interest in a school is only as strong as the students, themselves, want it to be. They make the school what it is; dull or exciting. Every student can contribute to his school if he has the desire to do so, whether it be through his artistic talent, his imagination or just his willingness to help. By joining the Pep Club or any of the other clubs he is showing a desire to contribute to the success- fulness of the student body. Every Pep Club President hopes that the majority of students will share her interest and desire to keep the student body enthusiastic. If each student gives some time, effort and vitality to school organizations, this interest will connbine to give us a spirited school--one which we can be proud.
