HONOR SOCIETY SEATED: Linda Wright, Secretary; Norma Bigelow, Vice -President ; Kay Wolownik, President; Marion Wasko, Treasurer. STANDING: Bette Jean Teall, Kathy Bray, Pat Stephayn, Donald Goddard, Joyce Weurding, Pat Thomas, Ida Cummings. Not Pictured: Mrs, D. R. Boothby, Advisor. To become a member of the National Honor Society, one must have attained a B or better average in high school up to the time he is a Junior when he will be ad- mitted into the society. After admittance he must maintain this average. If the aver- age drops for one six weeks period, he will be required to raise his marks for the next marking period or be dropped from the organization. The Honor Society has many special advantages including field trips to the Civic, honor roll parties, projects which work for piihlic welfare, and special recog- nition at graduation. At this time we have only one male in our society; but since it is still only a young organization, we are confident both boys and girls will be inspired to work harder so they can share the special benefits of this group.
