The prospects for the year appearel ltrilliant from the start, antl up to the present time Davis has been cretlitahly representetl in nearly all the lines of school activities. Captain Patterson rouncletl the football team into such efficient shape that the Davis was early picketl as a formirlable canrlirlate for the Inter-House championship. Hur gawtly P-ratle was followecl in liehruary by a tlelightful banquet in honor of the football championship. Allison antl llatterson were members of the Periwig Club this year, Patterson making the hit of the season. as the Xorth lfaroliny farmer, while Smith, R. C.. proved himself a very efficient property man. ln football, Smith. ll. C., antl Heyniger won ljs. anil lleyniger was awartletl a bl,h for his prowess in basketball. He was also learler of the Glee Club. a member of the Choir. antl secontl base, or rather Double Hass. in the filrchestra. llesifles l anilf' there were seven other Davis House fellows on the tilee Club, Four fellows were awarfletl ?ncls in football. The Davis has enjoyeml a very successful year. flue to the untiring efforts of Mr. Keener, combinefl with those of l'resiclent Heyniger, in whom we have founfl a strong antl able leatler.
