XYhen the practice series began. our team looked heavy and swift. but after the faculty finished showing how dull each fellow was. the team looked as though it had gone through the school laundry. As soon as football eligibility had passed, the study immediately ceased. Good Uld Fat llaldwin. Huck Caldwell and l'. Kannn have shown themselves the Sharks of the house. Towards the end of the tirst term the council form of government was adopted, and has proved very beneficial for both masters and boys. It has shown itself most e-Hicient in the subduing uf Red Rumelin, the meek Irishman 1 ?l. The house is well represented in school organizations, l '. Hamm on the Orchestra. Glee Club. Choir and Klandolin Club. with Good Uld Gunboatu Tarpley. the would-be genius, on the lfilee Club, Choir and the Lit -and several others. The qnarantines kept ns from basketball practice and took away our chance of the basketball championship. llespite the lack of practice the track team showed up remarkably well in the indoor meet. and Captain Richardson expects a successful spring season. In baseball last year we had a very good team. and there is every prospect of a very line one this year. if everyone can only manage to dodge the conditions of the spring half term. Hank Faurot. the Slim l'rincess, Huck Caldwell. the bouncing Tetrazine. and johnson, the Greek, keep the whole third floor in a state of eruption: while the delight of lleaverk life is to pound Aleck the Grate.
