It is said things always go in threes- -we know two loves of Nancy ' s — softball and band. Could her third love be boys ? Edward Whitehead Elmore - Class Sec- retary 1; Class President 2; Class Vice-President 3,4; Latin Club 1, Secretary, 2, 3, 4; Beta Club 3,4; Hi-Y 3,4; Senior Play Cast; Bow-Wow Staff; Football 4. A red-head — hands going — ques- tions flying — it must be Whitehead — just a small bundle of co-operative action and active brain. Norborne Coleman Gibbs-F.F.A. 3, 4,5; Pep Club 4; Football 4; Mono- gram Club 4,5. Norborne is friendly and well-liked by everyone, especially the girls. Freddie Lee Hammack - F.F.A. 1,2,3; D.O. 4. A mischievous glance and a teasing air are Freddie ' s ways of attracting the young ladies of L.H.S. Martha Annalee Hammack - F.H. A. 2, 3; Art Club 4. That ready smile means a warm friend- liness, although her very quiet ways often conceal it. 8
