SISTER MARY ELISE RENK Principal Graduates of 1970, Today,s world is one of CHANGE. It is refreshing to know that at Lawrenceville Catholic High School we have a group of young people who want to dedicate their annual to an AGELESS theme - PEACE AND HAPPINESS. How true it is that many times we forget that there is peace in silence, that there is serenity in being able to relate to all persons, that there is indeed courage in being able to state the truth quietly and clearly in face of much opposition. Dear Graduates, while here at your Alma Mater your teach- ers and associates have tried to shield you from much that makes the world bitter and unChristian. Now you will be subjected to the world with all of its many faces. It will be my constant and daily prayer that the wisdom that is expressed in DESIDERATA may become part of your daily living. One thought permeates this entire essay, it is that if one can be at peace with God, then all labors and aspirations and even all of the noise of the world will not disturb the peace of your heart and soul. Spread this message to all those with whom you come in contact, and you will be the source of much peace and joy in this world, which so sorely needs to be at PEACE. God bless each one of you.
