Glenn's favorite class is vocational shop and he indulges in the hobby of tinkering with old ialopies. Glenn remains humorously in the minds of most of his classmates by the square shoulders he displayed his Senior year. This was due to the fact that he wore a large wooden cross on his back as a brace for the broken collar bone which he received in the final joust against Aurora in the 1950-51 football season. Glenn is remembered by his fellow teammates as the clown with crazy antics on the gridiron. U Lloyd Spencer, a 6'll , 170 pound senior, was a utility man for Mr. O'Neill Lloyd generally played end or tackle, but in one game, he played every de fensive and offensive line position but center. Lloyd played football his iunior and senior years. He was injured in both seasons. In his junior year, he received a fractured foot which kept him out of seven games. ln his senior year he had three cracked ribs which kept him out of the last three games. Lloyd's favorite sport is football with basketball next in line. He was editor of the L Hi News ancl thinks he might even take up iournalism Frank Negongard is l7 Years old' 5191, 'all' for his life's work. After high school, and weighs 175 pounds. Frank doesn't want Lloyd plans to do one of two things. to follow in his father's footsteps and become Sheriff, He will either go to College which is already his nickname. This past year he played the tackle position for the fighting Tigers. Frank had a little trouble with his eye, the skin above it splitting open f when it came into contact with another person's body. . George has belonged tothe Hi Y and participated in a class play dur- ing his stay at LCHS. His favorite class is vocational machine shop. hopes to attend Purdue to take up Civil Engineering. Tom Spargo, the 6', 150 pound Tiger end, playing the whole game as the left end on defense and right on offense. Such players are referred to as sixty minute men. This is Tom's fourth year on the football squad and his second year on the first eleven. He is noted for his talking it up on the field, which is as important as playing. Louis Eckstein, the Tigers' 5'9 , T55 pound fullback, is T8 years old and has played foot- ball for four years. This was his first year on the first eleven. Louis wasn't iniured seriously during the season, which was a big help to the Tiger line-up. His agile movement and quick thinking was essential to the line on the defensive plays. Louie will be remembered by his coaches and teammates due to difficulties of ta ing his ankles and hurtin all over, as he ut it. P 9 P Louis expresses his plans to join the Navy after school dismisses. When he graduates, Tom hopes to go to Purdue to become a pharmacist. Tom wants to play basketball on the side at college. Tom was president of his class his Freshman 8 year and vice-president his Junior year. The center for the Lawrenceburg High School football team of the 1950 season was 5'11 , 195 pound Bruce ,McCarty. This was Bruce's fourth year of football, and the experience from the first three years helped him a lot. Bruce is a member of the Lettermen's Club as he won foot- ball letters in his iunior and senior year. Bruce won special recognition this year when he was presented the Barnes Blanket which goes to the ath- lete with the highest scholastic average for the four years of senior high school. ogy.
