SE ICR President ,.,,, ,,,, , , Charles :Xlexander Vice-President ,, .. Martha Bockhorst Treasurer ....,,, Margaret Morris Secretary H., .,,,,,, Lucy Theis Unly Your short years ago we were freshmen, just starting our high school careers. Ninety-seven strong, we soon became a part of the school, attending classes and working hard at our subjects. XVC elected as officers Charles Alexander, Patsy Morris and Jack Kirsch. We showed the other classes how energetic we were by winning the Scrap Drive in the fall. and taking part in the Victory Dance. NVe also enjoyed ourselves at parties for freshmen only. By the time we were sophomores, we no longer felt so small and green near the sophisticated seniors, More recognition was beginning to come our way, too, in athletics as well as in our studies. This year our oflicers were James XYalser, Melvin ,Xrmbrusteiy Betty Hartwell and l.ucy Theis. Xt the beginning of our junior year we began our campaign to earn money for the Junior-Senior Prom. XVith president Charles ,Xlexander leading, the hard-working juniors got under way. By selling pencils, pins, cokes and cfndy at football and basketball games, enough money was earned to give the seniors an uniorgetable prom. and now, in our last year, realizing that our high school days are numbered, all the old nostalgic memories flood over us. .Xfter being a part of l..C.'H.S. so long, we are sorry and yes. even reluctant to leave the familiar halls and friendly faces of all our old classmates, Only six members of the graduating class have maintained a li average during their leur years of high school. They are Charles Xlexander, Wlayne Marks, Judy Rodenberg, Carolyn Green. l,ucy 'l'heis and Darlene Ncl,easter.
