Cyrus Daniel teaches the Con lcids how to connect a ll chord to a V chord . . . is a whiz at wood- worlcing . . . devotes the rest of his spare time to gardening, photography, and com- posing music. Muriel Engelland has a great fondness for her little black coclcer who was baptized Michael . . . has been contralto soloist in the Messiah for the past few years. . . l4nits furiously. Nettie Fullinwider capably mingles a life of domesticity with a successful career . . . malces learning to play the piano a pleasure rather than a tasl4. Percy Fullinwider says, oddly enough, that music is his chief interest . . . is a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Qrchestra . . . has toured with the Marien String Quartet. l.aVal1n Maesch is often seen in sports garb either going to or coming from the tennis courts . . . waves the sticl4 at the choir at the Congregational Church . . . is lcnown as virtuoso of the organ. Kepler is a sympathetic listener to student religious problems . . . has coached athletics and continues to mal4e it a major inter- est. Edwin L. Miller thinks that Lawrence has the right concept of education as being more than just training-the Germans are trained . . . is interested in map reading . . . has collections of animals and colored plant photos. Walter E. Rogers has been concerned all summer with painting his house . . . enjoys ice skating in the winter. . . plays tennis and dabbles in photography and golf. Olga Smith fulfilled her ambition after her gradu- ation from Lawrence to return and teach here . . . is fascinated by art and photography . . . loves to commune with nature. Tarr longs Ior Anns- mead, her Forty-acre Iarm in Meadville, Pennsylvania ,... collects antiques and particularly old glass . . . has a vast liprary of coolcpoolcs, old and new, which she puts to use to serve some of her Delt boys a marvelous homecoolced meal. Barbara Timmins is the blond, curly-haired mistress of the girls' gym classes . . . is knovvn as Hlimmyn to her Iriends . . . is most popular oi all the Beta girls . . . likes all sports, but badminton, Iancy diving and Figure skating claim most oi her attention.
