ff' tw 7 Coach James Campoli is actively par- ticipating in amateur fencing in addi- tion to his efforts with the Tech team. He ranked near the top in the trials for this year's Pan American Games. FENCING The L.I.T. fencing team has completed a successful season with five victories and three defeats. This year's new- comers who secured a position are Dick Grey, Jim Lepley, and Howard Lang. ln addition to the regular col- legiate schedule several team mem- bers have participated in Regional and National Inter-Collegiate Tourna- ments. A The Michigan Inter-Collegiate Fencing Championship Trophy was captured by the team in competition with U. of D., Wayne U., and other Michigan colleges. The members of this year's fencing team are Leon Yulkowski, Dick Grey Paul Salazer, Dick Sharp, Jim Lepley, Jim Donahue and Howard Lang Dick Sharp parries as Paul Salazar attempts a chest cut during team practice at Bela de Tuscon.
