- SALUTATORIAN 'Morton Eydenbergs enviable aver- age of 95.l6f,Q justifies his position as second highest in the class, An out- standing all-around student, he has ex- celled particularly in Mathematics and in English. He has continued his excellent work in many of our most important clubs. Since entering school he has been an active member of the band. He par- ticipated in several Buskin tourna- ments and was chairman of the Senior Play ticket committee. He has also been a member of the Honor Society and an ofhcer of both the Camera and Science clubs. ln his senior year Morton came out one of the ten highest in a nationwide current events contest sponsored by Our Times, a weekly newspaper. For this he won a scholarship to Yale, where he will undoubtedly continue !. THIRD HONOR SPEAKER Richard Granger, with an average of 95.097, has given strong competi tion to the other honor speakers. His high school career has been character ized by a willingness to work, and it includes a long list of accomplish ITTCHIS. Dick is a member of the llonoi Society and many other clubs, Treas urer of the Buskins, and has been in several Buskin tournaments. This year he was elected Editor-in-chief of th Lawrencian and as such is mainly re sponsible for anything you may or may not like about it. ln his junior year Dick,' won for Lawrence, in in terscholastic competition, Hrst prize on Long Island in French and Latin.
