In I956, Councils of Walerville, Oakland, Winslow and Lawrence mel' and decided fo have a Twirp Week and a Twirp dance. During I957, Winslow suggesfed we ask Go-od Will +o par+icipa+e in fhe Win+er Carni- val. Also, during +his year, +he noon dances were s+ar+ed. The Acfiviiies Le++er was given ou'r for +he firsliime in I957. Durinq I958,+he Sfudenf Council held a Talenl' Show. They also look on a new proieci' called Boy and Girl of 'rhe Mon+h . Besides 'rhese many proiecfs, fhe Sfudenf Council held +he annual Curfis Magazine Campaign and lhe Ecnerwal Fair each year. They +ook charge of The selling of Assembly Tickers, and fhey also sei' up lhe nexi' year's schedule of assembly programs. For +he lasi' +wo years, +he Council has been work- ing on a School Handbook in confundion wifh +he Key Club.
