Mathematics MATHEMATICS The Math Department, headed by Miss Duhamel, is necessary for stu¬ dents during their high school years. It offers a good background tor col¬ lege-bound students as well as those seeking vocational training. There are many courses available to the students. A few of the advanced courses are Trigonometry, Calculus, and Probability and Statistics. Alge¬ bra and Geometry courses are also offered. The math lab is a helpful and educational place for the students. Ad¬ vanced calculators and computers are found there. These machines aid the students in achieving a higher understanding of the different areas ol math. The Math Department is constantly keeping up with the modern meth¬ ods used today.
