Law¬ rence High School’s Social Studies Department, headed by Mr. Sullivan, includes many courses which are aimed at giving the students a clear understanding of our world. Courses such as History of the Soviet Union and African Studies expand the minds and attitudes of our young adults toward people in foreign countries. Behavioral sciences such as psychology, sociology and anthropology help us comprehend today’s complex social problems.
