Candidate ADMINISTRATION Behind every good school, there is a special group of individuals known to the students and faculty as the ad¬ ministrators. This year Lawrence High School is very fortunate to have on its staff some of the most educated and dedicated administrators in the educational field. Each of these people concerns himself with the well being of the students, and with effective leadership our school continues to rise among the best. This year the student body is lucky to have obtained two new members, Mr. Peter Smith, our Principal, and Mr. Horace Sarabia, our Assistant Principal. Even though they have only been here a short time, Mr. Smith and Mr. Sarabia have already proved to be an asset to our school. Away from the school, we have two other members of the administration. They are Mr. Maurice Smith, the Superintendent, and Mr. Ernest Zaik, the Assistant Superintendent. These two distinguished members are always working to better our school and educational facilities. Along the second floor corridor, one finds the busy of¬ fices of Miss Horner and Mr. Kennedy, two Submasters who never fail to lend a helping hand to someone in need. Across from them is Mr. Walsh, the Guidance Direc¬ tor. His office is constantly filled whether it be ambitious students or students who just want to talk. His door is always open. Further down the hall, the students can hear the voices of the determined athletes talking about next week’s game. They are speaking with Mr. Wolfendale, our well- known Athletic Director. All of these people are important to the welfare of our school since they never fail to promote good leadership for the students of Lawrence High School. William D. Kennedy Boston College B.S.
