BLUE AND WHITE 1965 Many hours and days have passed on the master clock for mem¬ bers of the Class of 1965. The bell has rung for the final time ending our high school years. To each of us the four years have had a different meaning. For the scholar it meant long hours of diligent study, to the athlete lengthy practice to achieve his goal of victory. As time progresses we will probably reflect upon our high school years as care-free days. The editorial staff of the Blue and White hopes that this classbook can someday bring back memories of the glorious days of old.”

ADMINISTRATION and FACULTY The Lawrence High School is staffed by nearly 110 educators dedi¬ cated to the task of preparing close to 2700 students for future life. In an effort to accomplish this, a wide variety of subjects is offered so we may best make use of our hours in school. Terminal students are pre¬ pared in many diversified fields and college-bound students are placed in a wide variety of institutions of higher learning. The faculty is comprised of veterans of many years experience as well as recent college graduates. They offer a wide range of teaching techniques and methods. These men and women combine enthusiasm with knowledge of their subject matter in an effort to insure a successful future for their students.
