113th GRADUATION JUNE 10, 1964 Since 1938, the Lawrence High School graduation has been held out-of-doors in the beautiful pastoral setting of Memorial Stadium. Commencement is a stepping-off point from the sheltered sanctuary of scholastic routine and regi¬ mentation into the swirling cross-currents of the adult world. Devotion to the ideals of the late President John Fitzgerald Kennedy is an inspirational pledge of the Class of 1964. Every graduate has had opportunity to develop the potential of good citizenship by means of his academic studies and extra¬ curricular activities. Unremitting loyalty to the principles of integrity and patriotism is necessary to guarantee the preservation of the American way of life for posterity.
