Callaghan:--Not only was Cal President of his class but also the dynamic captain of the track team, Besides showing extraordinary athletic procress, Don evinced his more serious nature in the class room and as president of the math club he labored constantly and successfully to make this one of the most active of extra-curricular activ- ities. The interest and resultant marks that he showed in his studies were -evidence of a character that will surely lead to success.
