Finally, the announcement would come: Please release all students to report to the gym. After a mad dash to the main gym, Raiders partied for 30 minutes at weekly pep rallies. Dressing up for the theme provided an outlet for spirited Raiders. For eleven straight Friday's, an excited air filled the gym as pep rallies recharged the football team and stu- dent body for the game and weekend. A Dedication To Energy Imagine walking into a pep rally. Entering Mrs. Pam Wieland's classroom was much the same experience. With hilarious flash- cards, she cheered her students on to learning. Turning a foreign language class into an exciting experience was easy for Mrs. Wieland, who often pitted one half of the class against the other to compete for various small prizes. Deeply involved in Spanish Club, Mrs. Wieland took time out to get to know her students and club members, individually, To students and faculty alike, Mrs. Pam Wieland was the epitome of a friend. i'Energetic, friendly, and funny - she's wonderful, I really think a lot of her, said Mrs. Mary Jane l-larbison, German teacher.
