Brad Turner Chosen by Faculty Brad Turner ' s activities at Bell and his outside interests as well as his future plans center mainly around his love of rpusic. As a member of the First Symphonic Band and Drum Major of the Marching Band, he vi as able to travel to Colorado and Corpus Christi, an activity he says was one he enjoyed most at Bell. His music involvement also brought him the honor of being selected for All-Region Band in 1981-1982. His talents were not all in music, however; he won several science fair awards, both at the local and regional levels. Too, he was active in other organizations besides band, serving as an of- ficer in the National Honor Society and as a member of the Student Council. About Bell High School Brad said, I really en- joyed all the friendly and funny people at Bell. Sure, there are a few ' bad apples ' but most of Bell ' s students are really neat. In his future Brad sees himself as a successful businessman, working in recording-engineering, a career that would allow him to be around music. His motto, Roll with the punches, should help him become a success in whatever he at- tempts because as he says, Life is tough, really tough, and you have to be able to laugh at a lot of things and take some of the ' bad stuff ' in stride. His involvement at Bell, his achievements, his positive attitude, and his high goals combine to make Brad Turner a worthy Mr. Bell High School. MR. AND MISS BELL HIGH SCHOOL 21
