PROVIDING FOR EVERYONE Classes Offer Varied Interests Providing for everyone is something Bell High School takes pride in. Most everything students are interested in can be covered in some sort of elective. Homemaking offers a wide variety, adding Home and Family Living, Home Management, Home Furnishings and Child Development classes to their Foods and Sewing courses. Business classes include typing, shorthand, accounting and recordkeeping. Art has many varieties, and woodshop, photography, psychology and TV Productions are popular electives. Other options include the vocational classes at the Career Center, including technical classes and cosmetology. Bell has something for everyone. This part of our raiderstyle is the beginning of how, we, as students, find our talents and begin to use them as we prepare for the future. 6 OPENING

Rain Threatens Festivities It was a day that made you want to stay in bed. The sky was dark and clouds threatening rain hung low. Yet the weather had no effect on our spirit, this was our Homecoming, and we were going to make the best of it. All floats and flats had been perfected that morning and were ready for judging at one o ' clock. Just before judging it began to rain and the floats were moved to the main corridor. By fifth period a decision had been made with first place for the flats awarded to the Junior class and the hall decorations won by the Senior class. As skies cleared, the parade was held on schedule at six o ' clock, followed by a spot light rally at eight. Because the field was too wet, halftime festivities were held during the pep rally on Friday, a first for Bell. Nominees were escorted into the gym by their fathers and Eddie Harris, Gulstan Dart, Lisa Betty and former queen, Cindy Carlile crowned Laura Estes as 1981 Homecoming Queen. Homecc mWW
