They retain a staff of consultants to inspect the schools, employ teachers and adminis- trators whom they can depend on, and work with school principals and teach- ers to improve the field of instruction.

Every day these men and women strive to make Bell better academically as well as in other fields. In addition to trying to teach classes which are interesting and educational, most of them devote many hours sponsoring various clubs and attending extracurricular activities. These teachers believe that there should be more to graduation than just earning the required number of credits. One must also learn leadership and the importance of setting standards and goals for our lives before we are really prepared to become mature adults. The teachers of L.D. Bell High School have been selected to help us grow in these ways. Therefore , we believe this qualified group of teachers make up a very important part of this annual and of our school.

From man's earliest beginnings, he has fantasized about tomorrow. It is a concept that is all engrossing. Authors have capitalized on this fascination with the innumera- ble possibilities that the future holds. Men everywhere have speculated on the 1980's and even beyond. My sincere forecast for tomorrow is an even greater Americag greater than the first 200 years of its history. The concerted effort and dedication of you, the students of L.D. Bell High School, and others like you, will wit- ness the greatest evidence of creativ- ity, enthusiasm, and spiritual regener- ation this land has ever known.
