Lawrence County High School Our school ranks with the best in the state. With an ultra-modern school plant, an alert administration, a dedicated faculty, and wide-awake students, we are constantly expanding and improving our facilities - always striving for greater academic excel- lence. In addition to numerous improvements in previous years, this year at Lawrence County High School we are enjoying a new paved parking area and tennis courts, extra maintenance personnel, additional instructional and reference materials, a mathemat- ics laboratory, a guidance program specifically designed for the college-bound student, an improved guidance and testing program, and additional equipment in the Lunchroom, Library, Home Economics, Vocational Agriculture, Science, and Commercial depart- ments. Dedication UTTLE TOWN I like to live in a little town Where the trees meet across the street. Where you wave your hand and say hello To everyone you meet. I like to stand for a moment Outside the Grocery store And listen to the friendly gossip of The folks that live next door . . . £E J— j-Jjj ' 1 .. fv; 1 r. . ::;.: 1 ■ B H r V W F fi-fM 1e !■ t : Bpi -a ■ ' For live is interwoven With the friends we learn to know. And we hear their joys and sorrows As we daily come and go. So i like to live in a little town, I care no more to roam. For every house in a little town Is more than a house, it ' s home. We, the Annual Staff of 1965, dedicate this yearbook to our town- -the Biggest Little Town in Alabama. TffiEssrair

As we come to the end of another school year, I wish to say thanks to everyone who has helped to make this another very successful year in every way. However, we must not rest on our laurels but will continue to improve with each commg year. I take this opportunity to wish for all our graduating seniors a successful future. Whether you continue your formal education or not, remember that any job worth doing is worth doing right. Success is not occupying a lofty place or doing a conspicuous work: it is being the best that is in you. We hope that L.C.H.S. has helped to bring out the best that is in each of you. Bon Voyage.
