He and ll other lonely old men were victims of the mis-directed kindness of two sweet old aunts, Martha and Abby Brewster. Portrayed by Kathy Ober, and Charmaine LaPorte, respectively, they headed the T5-members cast of the fall stage production, Arsenic and Old Lace. Mr. Paris Goodrum acclaimed the play as the smoothest he had ever directed. Student director Robyn Goetz was a willing worker and a director's dream. Lighting was handled by Gary Hood and crew. we Look, I'm clancing,..well, l was, proclaims Cornelius lBrad McClarnonl with a thud. Cornelius was learning to dance before taking Mrs. Molloy Uane Ann Vigusi dancing at the Harmonia Gardens. At their meeting in the Harmonic: Gardens Restaurant, Horace Vandergelter lPat Mackeyl confronts ' Dolly Levi l.lan DeWesterl about his mis-match with the reputable Ernestina lPenny Pagei. The chorus dances and sings to Put On Your Sunday Clothes at the Yonkers' railroad station. 0 Jan DeWesfer ls Meddler In 'Hello, Dolly' Officially, Mrs. Dolly Levi meddled in everybody's business, ranging from marriages to corset repairs. Dolly, portrayed by senior Jan DeWester, was the busybody in the spring musical, Hello, Dolly. Under the direction of Mr. George Amend and senior Lynn Sanders, a new system of stage settings was used. The background was one continuous screen-like prop. Slides were projected onto this screen. Mrs. Jean Cones was choral director, and Mrs. Patricia Amend headed the costume committee. Music was provided by the LC orchestra. Senior Mikki Thompson was the choreographer. Total cost of the production was SS2,000. Collage 21
