A short rain fell during the dance, but as prom goers left an atmosphere of Love Around the World, the sky cleared. Decorations reflected a worldly mood as Harold Dallas crowned queen Linda Moorman. Frank Levinson, iunior class president, presented roses to Linda. A garden setting surrounded by trellises covered the dance floor. A globe was propped up atop a fountain in the center. As the sun rose Sunday morning, couples embarked for picnics ot Brown County and Turkey Run. 1 Illia! lil! Gill fill ill Beauty parlor appointments, the search for the perfect formal and renting tuxedos are proven worth their while as Centrolites enioy the 1970 Prom. Collage 15

Bears 'Pass Up' Patriots, 35-6 i Backing the Bears to a homecoming victory, the Booster Club float, with the theme Pickle the Patriots, won the title of Grand Champion. Senior Ken Carpenter changes to his special kicking shoe. He kicked 5 out of 5 and threw three TD passes for the evening. Sunshine broke through overcast skies during the pep session to allow a colorful homecoming parade. Halftime ceremonies included the presentation of queen Linda Moorman, her court and the distribution of float awards with Booster Club's float, Pickle the Patriots, winning Grand Champion. LC Bears entered the homecoming bout against an unbeaten squad of Marshall Patriots. A team of hungry Bears mauled the Patriots 35-6. Collage 17
