Central goes big time as dramatists brin BRINGINC '4Broadway', to Lawrence, the Elisha Reddick Auditorium was the scene of varied productions and aspiring talent. Theat- rical productions were big timew with stage props borrowed from the Civic Theatre of Indianapolis, an expert lighting crew, original scripts and a cast of enthusiastic performers. Hours of tedious rehearsals and try-outs re- sulted in Hfull house performances for stu- dents, faculty, and the community. The premiere for the year was the Variety Capersv, a show spotlighting musicians, song and dance, magic, the Barons, and dramatic interpretations. Advertising the Beafs Den, a modern space-age skit was presented with 'gflrandmaa' recalling her 1965 senior memories in an original script. Sound effects, and panto- mimes were used effectively for the yearbook promotion. Hflrsenic and Old Lacev a great classic, headlined the melodramatic entertainment for the year.
