PROM The 1950 Prom was certainly a triumph for the Junior Class. It took place on the balmy summer evening of May 3rd at the Indianapolis Athletic Club, where a delicious dinner was served at eight o'clock, preceding three heavenly hours of danc- ing to the sweet refrains of joe Zaney and his orchestra. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of Janet Wilcox as prom queen. She and her colorful retinue advanced to the throne, where she was crowned by Carroll Bragdon, vice presi- dent of the Senior Class. Miss Wilcox's court con- sisted of joey Nickell, Norma Schmidt, jolitta Smith, and Ann Cain. The memories of this wonderful evening will long remain after these pages turn yellow with age.
