Remember? How could we forget? All the things that add up to a memorable year at Lawrence Central. All the incidents, whether especially gay, or especially sad, or especially exciting, leaving an impression on young minds and hearts. The dances, the parties, all the little get-togethersu and happy times we've enjoyed. All this can be summed up in one word activities, a common word around any busy high school. Remember last year's prom? . . . the dream-like, perfect night, never to be forgotten. And graduation-there are too many emotions about a graduation to attempt to put down in words, but there's just something special about it . . . the Sadie Hawkins dance, an evening of informal fun and hilarity . . . of course the football games in the crisp fall air, the suffocating suspense of a close basketball game, the class leagues, girls' and boys' . . . the Calico Hop, an old-fashioned hoe-down, noisy and gay- Swing Your Partner! . . . the Sweetheart Ball, a huge Success, My dear, just everybody was there! . . . of course the Xmas Dance with that special holiday feeling . . . the com' bined Hi-Y and Tri-Hi-Y party, the highlight being, of course, the basketball game-loads of laughs and fun .... There are many more things to remember and perhaps to laugh or cry over, but it can all be summed up in three little words- fun for '5l !
