To the Seniors of 1966: Having worked hard for the past twelve years, you are now entitled to advance to your next level of achievement. Young people must realize that getting a good education is like any other work. Those who apply themselves are more entitled to promotion and better pay than those who do not work as hard. My sincere wish is that you will apply yourselves to your chosen work, and that much happiness and success may be yours as you become useful members of society. S UPEIUNT ffm? ADMINISTRATION The School Board has been working hard this year and the result is a new six-room addition to the high school. The student body and teachers are very grateful to Floyd Horn, Fritz Wheeler, Everett Whiscnhunt, Cecil Mitchell, Claude Zollinger, and Superintendent Harry Shackelford for their efforts. DEDICATION Because of all the extra work he has done to help the journalism class prepare a beautiful annual, we would like to dedicate the 1966 annual to Charles Halliburton, an outstanding senior. Charles spent many extra hours snapping pictures for the annual, and he has done an excellent job. We would like to thank Charles, but is it possible to thank him enough? We could have offered him a gift or pre- sented him with money, but that is too meaningless. Instead we chose to work many long hours to produce this yearbook for him.
