,:,, coming on. Elbert Lee, the star of the show had just been married four times and was having to sell Christmas cards to pay alimony. The pro- gram was sponsored by Bill's Bubble Bath. Inquiring, we learned that Bill Edwards was busy inventing cosmetics to keep his complexion beautiful. Right after Elbert went off the air, four voices with perfect harmony came on. It was the Four Knights, Ronnie Miner, Dwayne Luck, Bill Meyer and George Lenz, They sang top tunes and a few Lucky Strike extras. My we were thrilled! Our last stop was Hollywood, where we saw the premeire performance of that great movie WThe Snows of Siberian. Guess what! Starring in the picture were Norval Bourquin and Lois Shelinbarger. Norval has often been called the modern Humphery Bogart, while Lois has completely overshadowed Jane Russell. It seems that Miss Jones has made quite a name for herself with WJonesy's Wildlife Resturantn. She specializes in serving such delicacies as quail, phesant, wild turkey, and wild duck. As we started to leave, we saw Alene Beall peeking out from the back in a chef's cap and apron.- Looking over the list of the ten most wanted criminals in the U.S., we saw Garrold LaMunyon's name. He escaped from Alcatraz after being sentenced for cattle rustling in Texas. Back at home, I saw a squad car in front of my house. Inside sat Dewayne Hauth, the collector for the Internal Revenue Bureau and Shirley Edwards, Chief of the FBI. It seems I had evaded income tax and owed the government s5,ooo,ooo,ooo. Well, guess I won't be seeing you again for a while, but anyway it's a comfortable cell. .u

fromer class president. It seems that only last week he had been con- victed of bootlegging liquor. We went down to the city jail and there was Ginger sobbing as if her heart would break and saying, U0h, Hnmey, why did you do it?U Pretty soon, the sheriff came along and says, 'Times upin That voice sounded familiar! It was Stella Shuman. Since Stella had taken office, crime in Harper County has decreased 505. On the corner of Main and Broadway at Laverne, a rather large crowd had gathered. Near the center, we saw Leota Hosler standing on a soap box and shouting at the top of her voice, Ulf I am elected for Governor, there will be a tooth in every mouth, a hair on every head, and a rat in every barnln We had never thought of Leota as a politician. We were sorry to hear about J. C. McKee. It seems that he had been standing in for Roy Rogers. The bandits had caught him, tied him up, and set a time bomb under the house. Of course,he whistled for Trigger, but Trigger is getting old, and when he tried to untie the rope, his false teeth fell out and he couldn't get the knots out. J.C. will be in the hospital several weeks. Two of our married classmates, June Richards and Louise Colten Bower were also living in Laverne. They have formed a union and are selling alley cats at 84 apeice to support their husbands who have re- tired. We also visited Oklahoma University. A sign on one of the doors said, nProfessor Myers---Physcology and Philosophyn. Well, Rose must have decided to follow in her mother's footsteps. ' We turned on the radio. A program, UJust Plain Willn, was just
