MEMBERSHIP IN THE ARE INTERESTED IN The Bible Club is a club of high moral stand- ards. During the year the Bible Club has had many interesting speakers such as Dr. David McLean who spoke on Witch-craft , and Rev. Richard Alder- mann who spoke on The Marriage Vows. Parties consisting of fish frys, Sweetheart ban- quets and others were enjoyed by all. These are just a few of the things the Bible Club has undertakeng but all are to help create a more understanding feeling between the students and to relate a spiritual undertaking to everyday living. The Bible Club officers are Phyllis Parks, Hilda Bowyer, Susan Shelly and Suzanne Singleton. Q Nancy McLean m.cee's a Bible Club skit. Some members of the club enjoy the supper at their Sweetheart Banquet.

CN QUALITIES OF CHARACTER, LEADERSHIP, ACHIEVEMENT. PJ. plays S.C. for the Beta Club's Christmas party. Celeste Mason is surrounded by happy children open ing Beta gifts. The Beta Club is an honorary service organization. Its members work on such service projects as the homecoming float, underprivileged children's party, and the traditional Beta Club Christmas tree. Funds for these services are provided by various money-making projects throughout the year. Members are chosen on the basis of a minimum 85 scholastic average and qualities of character, leadership, and ser- vice. New members are selected in an induction ceremony soon after midterm exams. The Beta Club provides the opportunity for personal satisfaction from service to others. Bob Thompson, Karen Gibson, Jim Richardson, and Linda Lundin 4 not picturedy make up the Beta Club officers. BIBLE CLUB IS OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH SERVICE. The Bible Club encourages its members to follow Him who said, I am the way, the truth, and the light.
