Women's Cross Country Running A dedicated womens team represented Laurentian this year. They found their only weakness to be their small number, five. At the OUIAA championships, held at Laurentian, Veronica Poryckyj finished in third place. This qualified her for the Canadian Championships but, due to health reasons, Veronica was unable to compete. Strong performances by rookies Susan Nordman and Maureen Jordan indicate a strong team returning next year. First row left to right: Tara Powers, Veronica Poryckyj, Maureen Jordan, Mary Ellen Lanteigne, Sue Nordman. 51561 ,M . H ,, . W.. get . Q ' -.ay -N.
