T mi WINTER CARNIVAL A number of contests were held this year. These included the Physics Ice-cream Eating Contest, beer chugging, tricycle racing, and snow sculpture contests. The music of Sidewinder was featured in the Great Hall in the afternoons. The Great Hall came alive at night to the music of 'Trixie Goes Hollywood', 'Crawdad', and a local group, 'Spyre'. The feature band this year was 'Teenage Head'. The turnout was wonderful. Laurentian is renown- ed for its Winter Carnival spirit.
