Special People Although the Yearbook started with a large staff, it was necessary to ask other members of the University to help us. To these people we say Thank You . The work of Gisele Pageau was very important in the production of the Yearbook. She and her husband. Mike, put in many hours of their own time to see the completion of our book. Without their knowledge and assistance we would not have this Yearbook. The Department of Communications and Development made a generous donation to the Yearbook fund as well as providing typesetting services at no charge Jean Baxter s advice was very helpful to the Editor Bruce Anderson besides providing all the good looks wrote the pieces in the sports section His style and eloquence in writing added an extra dimension to the Yearbook Brian l-lart deserves a round of applause for his excellent photography The pictures are the most important part of the book as they comprise the memories This publication would not have been possible without the work of Brian Rod MacLeod and Dan Cluff The three of them put in many overtime hours to produce the beautiful pictures seen in this book it tt , . , . . i 1 , . , . .Q ,X X 1 I : - 5 : . 5 L K K- We-,.li.

Social Worker's Council The School of Social Work Student's Council, led by Gianni Vigna, believes that a student association has responsibilities to its electorate as well as the Laurentian community as a whole. The group works hard at meeting both of these important tasks. The council plans social activities and aids the students in finding placement opportunities and straightening out academic problems.
