The organization represents all students studying Commerce and is instrumental in planning most of the events at Laurentian. At the head of this year's council was Don Garioch, a graduating student. Under his leadership the council planned many social events, academic activities, and donated to some charities. LAMBDA Lambda is a student-run, student-operated newspaper. It strives to keep the Laurentian com- munity informed about what is happening around campus throughout the academic year. Lambda is now in its twentieth year, and is published weekly.
