LAMBDA Lambda is a student-run, student-operated newspaper. It strives to keep the Laurentian com- munity informed about what is happening around campus throughout the academic year. Lambda is now in its twentieth year, and is published weekly. As a member of the Canadian University Press, it maintains contact with other university and college student newspapers across the country. The organization represents all students studying Commerce and is instrumental in planning most of the events at Laurentian. At the head of this year's council was Don Garioch, a graduating student. Under his leadership the council planned many social events, academic activities, and donated to some charities.
