Q-ef 'L A problem in physics class has Lisa Landrum perplexed. The blue buttondown oxford cloth shirt and its yellow and counterparts were prep basics for all seasons f rolled up to the elbow in summer and under wool sweaters in winter. Here Tracy Hankins sports hers. S THE LANCER LOOK Pads, fashions, records, groups, things only the Big Blue has - make up the Lancer Look. ln clothes, there has been a huge change in styles the past two years. Even though Levi's and flannel shirts are still popular. Oxford cloth buttondowns paired with Levi's present an entirely dif- ferent look. Gxford cloth shirts come in white, light blue, brightor pale yellow, wheat, candy stripes, and they all have buttondown collars. Collars buttoned down on cotton shirts and flannels, too. For the dressy prep look on girls, the buttondown collar sometimes gives way to a lace collar. Alligators were everywhere, on everything. Gater khakis, gator shirts, gator sweaters - many people put alligator pins on the things that didn't Come with gators on them. Mrs. Jean Wickham gained the name Gator Woman because she always wore them. Gators took a huge hunk out of the wallet though. Izod shirts cost from S22 to 526, sweaters were S30 and 12 Side One

The early football games aren't coldg so blankets and heavy coats aren't necessary. Here Lisa Cobblerwearsa monogrammed wool sweater. Lori Deese wears an official Lancer windbreaker. For Donna Stockton and Kim Rohr, plaids are tops lor jeans. Donna's collar is turned up for a little dressier look. Shelby Wade sports a tank top and split twill skirt. On Fridays Ran- dolph Morrison wears his jersey. In order to cut production time for the '80 Koine, Editor Chris Martin checks proofs in Charlotte, N.C. His white oxford shirt was standard in the spring. Cheerleading tryouts - Debby Penn, Donna Kuykendall, Darlene Smallwood, Jackie Stockton and Kim Stultz are dressed for comfort.
