We asked if seniors had any memories ot funny situations and we got these answers: Once, on fifties day, I came to school and the pink and white shoes that I wore . . . drew flies. Delphine Holland Once I was put into a trash can tail first, and was left sitting there with no way to get out. Well, my big mouth got me out of that one, for they could not stand the noise and had to come back and rescue me. Mitzi Prilliman Once I got caught smoking a cigarette and the teacher thought that it was reefer. Phyllis Morrison I can still remember when I was in the eighth grade on the first day. I was trying to find my English room and I passed by the right room at least five times not knowing what room it was, because the teacher was standing in front of the door and I couldn't see the number and I was afraid to ask. I felt so green! I was in the eighth grade second six weeks5 I was lookout for Mr. Mar- tin in the boys' bathroom. As Mr. Martin was walking down the hall, I said, 'Here comes Mr. MartIn.' Well, all the boys got away, but I got two licks for the warning. Scott Mullins Once during practical nursing class, while on break, some friends and I went into the bathroom and while I was indisposed they all left me there thinking I was talking to them while I was really only talking to myselfg meanwhile, a lady came in, thinking I was talking to myself and thinking I was out of my mind. She went out and told my friends that I was talking to myself. When I came out, they were all laughing and I asked them why and they told me that the lady thought I was crazy. Anita Wilson The things I think are amusing the most are taking day trades and hav- ing fun with all the cute dudes and also making up new dances in the hall and getting caught in the act. Loretta Millner The Martinsville Pep Rally: Mike Prillaman, Lisa Bryant, Chris Martin, Delphlne Holland and Cecilia Jamison are ready to cheer.
