AI- though we were not experienced in year- book journalism, we put in long hours and hard work to produce an annual of which the faculty and students would be proud. Our book was published with- out the support of advertisements, how- ever, next year we will have a full cover- age book as we are starting on next year’s publication immediately. Lancer JV’s Have Successful Season Introducing Laurel Park High School to the realm of sports activities, the Lancer JV football team finished top in district with a 5-1 record in district, and a 5-4 record overall. This capable team was led in scoring by Lynn Payne, Robert Kellam, Harry Martin, and Calvin Jamison. The team’s achievements were indicative of the determination and capabilities of the players combined with the coaching of Robert Gunter and Ben Galloway.
