The girls received cor- sages and the guys received bouton- nieres. The parents of the band and aux- iliary were called onto the field and each mother was presented with a single yellow rose. Although the Spartan foot- ball team lost to Mercer, the seniors were still proud of them. All were very emo- tional realizing that this would be their last home game. The auxiliary performed a combined routine to β€œNew York, New York” ending the half-time.
