CHRISTMAS CE MAn Old Fashioned Christmasi' was the theme for the 1963 Christmas Dance presented by the Senior Class. The decorations were highlighted by a fifteen foot tree and a fireside setting. Mr. Scagliarini's band provided the music and a guest appearance was made by Santa Claus himself. Music for the dance was provided by Mr. Scagliarinfs band. The beautifully decorated tree is admired by couples at the Christmas Dance. During the Christmas Dance, Phil and his date, Barbara, cut the beautifully decorated cake. Santa Claus in the person of Bernie Reedy, sat by the fireside. 75

bration of Thanksgiving. Students listen as the chorale sings during the program. THANKSGIVI G PROGRAM The 1963 Thanksgiving program was a joint effort of the Glee Club and the Tri-Hi-Y. Speeches were given by S. Ross, M. Sorady, J. Fujii, and A. Tuozzo, who gave a memorial to our late President. Although it was a sad time for all Americans, we were reminded of the true meaning of Thanksgiving and some of the many things for which we should be thankful. CHRISTM PROGRAM Sandy sings, accompanied by the Glee Club, during the Christmas Program. Mother-in-law Pat Reeves comes for a surprise visit in the Christmas play. LHS's annual Christmas Assembly was presented by the Glee Club. The program included Christmas music by the Glee Club, Chorale, Madrigal Singers and by soloists J. McConnell, C. Payne, and S. Cooper. A one act play, written by R. Wade, entitled Charge It to Santan was also presented. Shirley Ross gives the history of the cele-
