The festive activities began Monday with Mr. Irresistible Day. Every time a girl spoke to a senior boy that day she signed her name on a list that he carried. At the end of the day the boys turned in their lists of names which were tallied by the Student Council. Mark Schnabel was chosen '4lVlr. Irresistible and rode in the parade and helped in the crowning of the Homecoming Queen. Tuesday was blue and gold day during which the stu- dent body wore the school colors. V' Beat Woodward Prep!I The Student Council sold Homecoming buttons which were worn by many stu- dents as their slogans. Thursday brought Laurel Highfs first Homcoming Day Parade. The week's festivities culminated in the Homecoming Game against Wood- ward Prep and the dance. Laurel's smashing victory and the crowning of Tracy Hayes as Homecoming Queen ended a week of excitement long to be remem- bered by LHS students. Coach Yanchulis presents a dozen red roses to Homecoming Queen, Tracy Hayes. Members of the court include N. Danton, C. McCool, A. Tuozzo, L. Young, M. Sorady, and V. Patterson.

bration of Thanksgiving. Students listen as the chorale sings during the program. THANKSGIVI G PROGRAM The 1963 Thanksgiving program was a joint effort of the Glee Club and the Tri-Hi-Y. Speeches were given by S. Ross, M. Sorady, J. Fujii, and A. Tuozzo, who gave a memorial to our late President. Although it was a sad time for all Americans, we were reminded of the true meaning of Thanksgiving and some of the many things for which we should be thankful. CHRISTM PROGRAM Sandy sings, accompanied by the Glee Club, during the Christmas Program. Mother-in-law Pat Reeves comes for a surprise visit in the Christmas play. LHS's annual Christmas Assembly was presented by the Glee Club. The program included Christmas music by the Glee Club, Chorale, Madrigal Singers and by soloists J. McConnell, C. Payne, and S. Cooper.
