Its members spend at least one hour a month helping in the library by filing and checking out books. PBOJECTIO CL B The Projection Club is an important service organization at LHS. lt is com- posed of students who are able to operate audio-visual equipment. They assist in the showing of films and pre- paring for assemblies. Under the direc- tion of Mr. Weagly, members are also trained in the proper maintenance of the audio-visual equipment. E. Davidson, G. Thompson. TECH CLUB Members of the Tech Club experiment and work in the fields of electronics, solar energy, and automation. Member- ship olfers students interested in re- search work in electrical energy and its uses a preparatory background to elec- trical engineering and its related fields. Through the club, members are able to work toward and sometimes obtain ham radio licenses. PHY-CHE CLUB Members of the Phy-Chem Club meet bi-weekly to further their understanding of the laws of science and to apply this knowledge in the performing of ex- periments. Each year the Phy-Chem Club sponsors the Laurel Science Fair and a trip to either Philadelphia or New York to visit a science institution. Membership is open to chemistry and physics students. 65
