MADRIGAL This group, taking its name from. a style of music of the 15th century, is composed of 12 members: S. Cooper, R. Dixon, K. Erskine, L. Kemp, J. lVlc.Connell, C. Payne, L. Rumford, S. Spence, E. Stiles, L. Turney, G. Wellford, A. Whitehead. Making their first appear- ance, the Madrigals performed in costume at the Christmas assembly. The group Was invited to sing at the Citizens National Bank during the Christmas season. The group recorded some carols a capella. Their future plans include singing for the Rotary Club and in the Spring Concert. ' CI-IOBALE This group plans to revive some of Bach,s Chorales and they like to include one in every performance. Within the 20-member group, six members are selected to go to County Chorus where they rehearse for two days before giving their performance. This year 50 members from the Glee Club, Chorale and band were chosen to attend the Baltimore Symphony Concert presented at Fairmont Heights High School.
