Linda Goodrich Captain Linda Nelson Mary Ann Hatcher Pat Barton The girls of the cheerleading squad form their favorite cheer. The Cheerleading Squad is com- posed of seven girls clad in the tradi- tional blue and gold of Laurel High. Responsible for the promotion of school spirit, the cheerleaders cheer at games, conduct pep rallies for the student body, and sell school banners and pins. Each spring tryouts for the selection of cheerleaders for the coming year are held. Applicants are judged and selected by the faculty and incumbent cheer- leaders. FOR EVERY LAUREL BOY For every Laurel boy is hard to beat, H e's just a hundred pro from head to feet, Hels got the style, heis got the smile, Hens got the winning way. N0 matter where he'll go youill recognize his way And say, 'cN0w thereis a boy Fd like to know.
