To Miss Myerly and Mr. Sobleskie: We griped and slaved and grouched and toiled and finally produced a yearbook. Without your wis- dom, experience, guidance, and hard work we could never have done it. We shall always be grateful to you for helping us to make this i962 RAMBLER the best ever. 48 This year's RAMBLER, like all other yearbooks, is the result of planning, and hard work, and pure chance. Starting in a jumble of notes and drawings and end- ing as a jumble of notes and drawings, the RAMBLER became a yearbook by dint of a sometimes united effort of the RAMBLER staff and Mrs. Weaver, who provided a meeting place. Although we tried to limit mistakes, 'ui digs pgp euuog This year's TATLER was bigger cmd better than ever before. The decorations were highlighted by Christmas trees placed around the auditorium, and a silver Spar- tan head hung from the center of the ceiling. Remember how, as Freshmen, we fought the Seniors for a place in the lunch line? lAnd now, finally as Seniors, we tight the Fresh- men for a place in the lunch linell Then there was the time in our Sophomore year when some well-meaning student biologists caretully carried dissected trogs to the cafeteria! And everyone smelled the odors of fire and brimstone so befitting our devilish pranks in Mr. Weagly's Junior year chemistry class! Finally, we arrived at our Senior year, the shining star toward which we strove through the years. By the time we got through it, it had tarnished considerably. But the gleam is still there, and as you leave through the gates of graduation, l will remember. Spa rty 86 .lvlile - i , , -1-KX lm , eg., x X l'wiil'f,1l . ,,. 1. i gffzfi, .J -V 2,54 Y, dn- , .
